DR. LAURA WOODROW. D.O. has been in the healthcare field since 1997 and is dedicated to compassionate, patient-centered care. She is a doctor of osteopathy (D.O.) who specializes in traditional osteopathic manipulation. Dr Woodrow treats a wide variety of health concerns such as pain, muscle spasm, reduced range of motion, headaches, TMJD, ankle/foot issues, sports-related injuries, and loss of function related to stress, poor posture, or accidents. Through a holistic approach to medicine, she views each patient as a whole rather than as single symptom to be treated.
Dr. Laura Woodrow graduated from Touro University College of Osteopathic Medicine (TUCOM) in Vallejo, CA in 2008. She then completed a traditional osteopathic rotating internship with Michigan State University Kalamazoo Center for Medical Studies (MSU-KCMS).
Dr. Woodrow went on to specialize in Neuromuscular Medicine / Osteopathic Manipulative Medicine (NMM / OMM) at St. Barnabas Hospital in the Bronx, one of the premier hands-on osteopathic training programs in the United States. Additionally, she has participated in medical clinics in both Guatemala and Madagascar and has a modest background in medical Spanish.
Upon finishing her residency, Dr. Woodrow returned home to the Bay Area where she established successful private practices, first in Palo Alto and now in both Berkeley and Corte Madera, California. She specializes in Osteopathic Manipulative Medicine for infants, children, and adults.
In a prior career as a massage therapist, Laura had the honor of being a member of the Winter Sports Massage Team for the 2002 Winter Olympics in Salt Lake City, Utah.
