ANGELA CARLO L.M.T. In 2011 Angela transitioned from a background in the visual arts to follow a calling to the healing art of massage. Angela received her training from the National Holistic Institute in Emeryville, CA, where she studied various modalities; most notably Deep Tissue, traditional Swedish massage, as well as Shiatsu and Thai. A familiarity with meditation and energy work has also cultivated a deep respect for the connection between the mind and body.

Angela believes massage can work on the whole body: physically, mentally or emotionally, and on the energetic level as well. By relieving tension on these levels, massage can help promote a greater sense of vitality and well-being. Having lived and practiced in the east Bay Area for over ten years, some of you may remember Angela from such practices as the Lolo Health Center (2011-2015) and Berkeley Massage and Self Healing Center (2015-2021). Angela looks forward to working with you.
